The Noor Precision Neuromodulation (NPN) Lab operates at the intersection of human intracranial electrophysiology and clinical neuromodulation. We record and analyze brain activity from patients undergoing functional neurosurgery or intracranial monitoring to characterize relevant neural circuits and identify electrophysiological biomarkers of disease.
Our principal techniques include intracranial electrophysiology, neuroimaging, signal processing, and computational modeling. We work closely with neurosurgeons, neurologists, psychiatrists, basic scientists, engineers, and computer scientists, and welcome students from diverse academic backgrounds who are interested in interdisciplinary neuroscience research.
